Fish has played bass in the western United States and Canada for the past thirty years. He has played many styles of music, but his heart is in the blues. This music is the reason he picked up the bass in 1967 as a teenager in Akron, Ohio. He settled in Seattle in 1977, not only for the beauty of the area, but also for the creative spirit. Joining the Bluecats, and being nominated for Best Bass 1998 by the Washington Blues Society has brought Fish full circle back to his love for the blues.
